Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.19% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 5.75% or 0.24 points to trade at 4.33 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 3.91% or 8.90 points to end at 235.20 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 2.56% or 4.50 points to 178.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Evolution AB (ST:EVOG), which fell 10.14% or 92.80 points to trade at 822.40 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.26% or 1.90 points to end at 149.00 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was down 0.85% or 1.50 points to 168.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 407 to 375 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) fell to 52-week lows; falling 10.14% or 92.80 to 822.40.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.09% or 0.76 to $68.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.07% or 0.78 to hit $71.78 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 13.79 to trade at $2,631.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.07% to 11.49, while USD/SEK rose 0.20% to 11.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 107.78.
