Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which rose 2.28% or 1.51 points to trade at 67.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) added 1.91% or 2.6 points to end at 138.9 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 1.56% or 9.8 points to 639.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 1.90% or 2.8 points to trade at 144.2 at the close. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) declined 1.63% or 2.70 points to end at 162.65 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 1.58% or 1.44 points to 89.42.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 386 to 249 and 66 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.71% or 1.57 to $59.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.24% or 1.44 to hit $65.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 4.35 to trade at $1414.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.08% to 10.5350, while USD/SEK fell 0.15% to 9.2631.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 95.697.
