Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.19% or 0.19 points to trade at 16.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) added 0.85% or 1.0 points to end at 118.4 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 0.79% or 0.80 points to 102.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 7.53% or 7.91 points to trade at 97.14 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.35% or 7.9 points to end at 575.9 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 1.23% or 0.69 points to 55.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 351 to 266 and 42 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.49% or 0.31 to $63.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.12% or 0.08 to hit $68.90 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.70 to trade at $1318.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 9.8007, while USD/SEK fell 0.46% to 8.1931.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 92.00.
