Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 1.68% or 2.8 points to trade at 166.3 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 1.54% or 2.1 points to end at 138.5 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was up 1.29% or 2.7 points to 211.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 1.83% or 3.6 points to trade at 195.8 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.48% or 0.62 points to end at 41.17 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 1.42% or 2.8 points to 190.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 308 to 307 and 54 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.83% or 3.6 to 195.8.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.49% or 0.36 to $73.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.18% or 0.14 to hit $77.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.33% or 16.50 to trade at $1258.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 1.39% to 10.2901, while USD/SEK fell 1.49% to 8.8318.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 94.38.
