Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.56% or 11.8 points to trade at 766.6 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.45% or 11.1 points to end at 775.8 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was up 1.17% or 2.0 points to 173.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which fell 1.92% or 5.10 points to trade at 260.30 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 1.54% or 3.2 points to end at 205.2 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 1.48% or 1.30 points to 86.48.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 329 to 313 and 54 ended unchanged.
Shares in AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.45% or 11.1 to 775.8.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.42% or 1.96 to $55.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 3.55% or 2.39 to hit $64.86 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.05 to trade at $1328.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.16% to 10.5774, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 9.3197.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.368.
