Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 1.95% or 2.75 points to trade at 143.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) added 1.93% or 8.7 points to end at 460.5 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.67% or 1.34 points to 81.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which fell 6.64% or 10.70 points to trade at 150.40 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.89% or 20.2 points to end at 679.8 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 2.28% or 0.78 points to 33.48.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 362 to 256 and 62 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.15% or 0.08 to $52.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.31% or 0.19 to hit $61.82 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.15 to trade at $1318.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.10% to 10.4956, while USD/SEK rose 0.04% to 9.2646.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 96.382.
