Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.77% or 0.69 points to trade at 39.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.00% or 1.80 points to end at 182.30 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 0.98% or 0.95 points to 98.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which fell 1.76% or 2.85 points to trade at 158.85 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.46% or 2.90 points to end at 195.50 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was down 1.35% or 5.0 points to 366.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 324 to 286 and 53 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.55% or 0.90 to $57.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.53% or 0.97 to hit $62.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.87% or 11.29 to trade at $1283.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.26% to 9.9130, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 8.3642.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 93.16.
