Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.12% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 4.23% or 0.24 points to trade at 5.84 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 2.56% or 29.40 points to end at 1,176.20 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 1.55% or 3.20 points to 210.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 2.38% or 4.40 points to trade at 178.50 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 2.26% or 6.30 points to end at 272.30 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 2.07% or 2.00 points to 94.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 484 to 277 and 86 ended unchanged.
Shares in Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.38% or 4.40 to 178.50.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.14% or 0.89 to $78.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.08% or 0.89 to hit $83.51 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 19.80 to trade at $2,329.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.32% to 11.28, while USD/SEK rose 0.17% to 10.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 105.09.
