Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which rose 3.78% or 26.5 points to trade at 728.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) added 0.80% or 0.80 points to end at 100.95 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was up 0.61% or 0.58 points to 95.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 1.79% or 1.90 points to trade at 104.40 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 1.78% or 4.0 points to end at 221.2 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 1.69% or 1.5 points to 86.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 331 to 276 and 64 ended unchanged.
Shares in AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) rose to all time highs; up 3.78% or 26.5 to 728.4.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.88% or 0.54 to $61.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.05% or 0.76 to hit $71.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1224.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.55% to 10.2569, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 8.9863.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 96.12.
