Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 2.45% or 4.55 points to trade at 190.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.07% or 1.50 points to end at 142.15 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.93% or 0.8 points to 84.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which fell 1.51% or 13.6 points to trade at 887.1 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.50% or 10.0 points to end at 658.0 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was down 1.16% or 0.70 points to 59.73.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 338 to 276 and 64 ended unchanged.
Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.45% or 4.55 to 190.20. Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.07% or 1.50 to 142.15.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.20% or 1.21 to $53.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.97% or 0.57 to hit $58.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.70% or 25.95 to trade at $1555.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.05% to 10.7821, while USD/SEK fell 0.01% to 9.8260.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 98.887.
