Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.09% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 1.66% or 0.62 points to trade at 37.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.41% or 1.50 points to end at 108.00 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.26% or 7.0 points to 562.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 2.63% or 7.50 points to trade at 278.20 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.79% or 3.70 points to end at 203.50 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 1.74% or 18.0 points to 1019.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 515 to 234 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.41% or 1.50 to 108.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.66% or 0.37 to $55.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.55% or 0.34 to hit $61.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.67 to trade at $1278.23 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.54% to 9.9558, while USD/SEK rose 0.53% to 8.4384.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 93.74.
