Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 1.61% or 0.87 points to trade at 54.77 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.08% or 2.00 points to end at 186.60 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 0.96% or 2.00 points to 210.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 3.66% or 0.66 points to trade at 17.36 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 1.12% or 2.1 points to end at 186.2 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was down 0.91% or 1.6 points to 174.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 436 to 303 and 82 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) rose to all time highs; up 0.96% or 2.00 to 210.60.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.61% or 1.45 to $57.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.85% or 1.77 to hit $63.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 12.12 to trade at $1281.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.45% to 9.7456, while USD/SEK fell 0.42% to 8.3981.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 94.71.
