Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 6.00% or 0.26 points to trade at 4.58 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 3.44% or 7.80 points to end at 234.70 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.41% or 1.10 points to 80.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 4.07% or 1.70 points to trade at 41.10 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 3.95% or 34.80 points to end at 847.00 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was down 2.83% or 0.59 points to 20.27.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 496 to 270 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) fell to 3-years lows; falling 4.07% or 1.70 to 41.10.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.13% or 0.84 to $73.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.12% or 0.86 to hit $76.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 20.46 to trade at $2,685.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 11.51, while USD/SEK rose 0.38% to 11.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 108.87.
