Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which rose 0.95% or 0.90 points to trade at 95.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 0.88% or 0.9 points to end at 108.7 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.87% or 2.1 points to 243.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 3.10% or 2.6 points to trade at 81.1 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) declined 2.43% or 4.25 points to end at 171.00 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was down 1.99% or 9.7 points to 476.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 362 to 268 and 52 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.12% or 0.07 to $60.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.57% or 0.39 to hit $68.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.85 to trade at $1307.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.04% to 10.4316, while USD/SEK rose 0.58% to 9.1905.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.87% at 96.025.
