Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 2.82% or 4.10 points to trade at 149.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 2.41% or 4.40 points to end at 186.90 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.40% or 5.0 points to 362.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 2.30% or 4.0 points to trade at 170.0 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) declined 1.92% or 2.00 points to end at 102.00 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was down 1.74% or 2.1 points to 118.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 419 to 325 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) rose to all time highs; up 1.40% or 5.0 to 362.7.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.99% or 0.52 to $51.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.67% or 0.39 to hit $57.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.76 to trade at $1280.06 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.50% to 9.7136, while USD/SEK rose 0.10% to 8.2264.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 93.55.
