Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 3.30% or 1.85 points to trade at 57.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 1.46% or 4.2 points to end at 291.5 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 1.11% or 2.2 points to 196.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which fell 8.09% or 14.00 points to trade at 159.10 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.76% or 2.8 points to end at 157.3 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 1.37% or 3.1 points to 223.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 361 to 263 and 40 ended unchanged.
Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) fell to 52-week lows; down 8.09% or 14.00 to 159.10. Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.76% or 2.8 to 157.3. Shares in AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.11% or 2.2 to 196.5.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.38% or 0.24 to $63.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.27% or 0.19 to hit $69.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.80 to trade at $1334.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.34% to 9.8242, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 8.0318.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 90.36.
