Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 2.59% or 6.8 points to trade at 269.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.97% or 2.55 points to end at 131.80 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was up 1.68% or 1.54 points to 92.96 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which fell 4.53% or 8.05 points to trade at 169.60 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 2.64% or 0.98 points to end at 36.18 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was down 2.64% or 7.3 points to 268.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 338 to 296 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.97% or 2.55 to 131.80.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.50% or 2.28 to $62.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 3.55% or 2.64 to hit $71.71 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 8.85 to trade at $1288.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.19% to 10.5963, while USD/SEK fell 0.43% to 9.4972.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 97.697.
