Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 1.62% or 0.66 points to trade at 41.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 1.52% or 1.30 points to end at 87.02 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 0.96% or 1.9 points to 193.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 2.43% or 2.6 points to trade at 104.2 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.86% or 0.64 points to end at 33.79 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 1.81% or 4.45 points to 240.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 377 to 245 and 61 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.57% or 0.89 to $55.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.42% or 0.94 to hit $65.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.05% or 13.55 to trade at $1299.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.15% to 10.5980, while USD/SEK fell 0.29% to 9.4284.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 97.273.
