Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.91%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 12.59% or 0.89 points to trade at 7.97 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 5.00% or 1.54 points to end at 32.32 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) was up 3.97% or 8.80 points to 230.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 1.07% or 1.25 points to trade at 115.95 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) declined 0.57% or 0.19 points to end at 33.38 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 316.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 510 to 250 and 80 ended unchanged.
Shares in Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 12.59% or 0.89 to 7.97.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.18% or 1.52 to $71.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.91% or 1.41 to hit $75.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 16.75 to trade at $2,615.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 11.34, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 10.17.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 100.45.
