Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 4.90% or 13.3 points to trade at 284.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 3.85% or 1.39 points to end at 37.45 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 2.87% or 32.0 points to 1147.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 3.44% or 0.36 points to trade at 10.05 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) added 0.45% or 0.42 points to end at 94.38 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 0.52% or 0.48 points to 93.08.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 461 to 163 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.44% or 0.36 to 10.05.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.96% or 0.57 to $59.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.59% or 0.37 to hit $63.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.70 to trade at $1326.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 9.9255, while USD/SEK rose 0.16% to 8.0935.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 90.19.
