Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.80% or 6.4 points to trade at 174.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) added 2.72% or 6.6 points to end at 249.1 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 2.66% or 5.19 points to 200.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which fell 0.17% or 0.14 points to trade at 83.40 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.05% or 0.04 points to end at 85.26 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 0.19% or 0.4 points to 215.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 447 to 194 and 48 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.04% or 1.12 to $55.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.65% or 0.97 to hit $59.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.96% or 14.65 to trade at $1508.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 10.7287, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 9.6770.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 98.178.
