Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 3.33% or 19.8 points to trade at 614.4 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 3.25% or 0.95 points to end at 30.18 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 2.80% or 4.10 points to 150.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 1.07% or 1.40 points to trade at 128.85 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 0.07% or 0.20 points to end at 279.30 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 0.13% or 0.2 points to 187.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 447 to 188 and 51 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.45% or 0.24 to $53.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.14% or 0.70 to hit $61.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 3.25 to trade at $1331.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.01% to 10.6148, while USD/SEK fell 0.18% to 9.4257.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 96.968.
