Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.14% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.50% or 4.8 points to trade at 143.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 2.16% or 3.60 points to end at 169.90 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 1.56% or 6.8 points to 443.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 1.63% or 11.8 points to trade at 710.8 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 0.14% or 0.1 points to end at 106.3 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 0.14% or 0.05 points to 34.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 402 to 234 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.45% or 0.26 to $58.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.49% or 0.33 to hit $67.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 13.25 to trade at $1296.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.04% to 10.5246, while USD/SEK rose 0.26% to 9.3134.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 96.743.
