Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 3.06% or 5.0 points to trade at 166.8 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 2.39% or 3.3 points to end at 142.9 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.81% or 3.1 points to 177.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 0.05% or 0.05 points to trade at 105.20 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 194.2 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 0.18% or 0.40 points to 219.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 392 to 242 and 45 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.51% or 0.38 to $73.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.99% or 0.76 to hit $77.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.60 to trade at $1261.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.01% to 10.2466, while USD/SEK fell 0.02% to 8.7234.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 93.85.
