Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 8.81% or 0.54 points to trade at 6.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 5.26% or 5.80 points to end at 116.05 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 3.41% or 2.8 points to 84.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 2.74% or 3.9 points to trade at 140.1 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 0.67% or 0.7 points to end at 99.7 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was down 0.60% or 1.30 points to 215.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 333 to 287 and 63 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) rose to 5-year highs; up 5.26% or 5.80 to 116.05.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.12% or 0.08 to $66.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.81% or 0.62 to hit $76.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.10 to trade at $1307.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.37% to 10.1118, while USD/SEK rose 1.00% to 8.6936.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.00% at 94.50.
