Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 2.95% or 5.3 points to trade at 185.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 2.72% or 4.7 points to end at 177.4 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 2.61% or 9.9 points to 389.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 6.23% or 6.0 points to trade at 90.0 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 2.09% or 0.17 points to end at 7.88 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 1.69% or 1.13 points to 65.69.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 398 to 243 and 48 ended unchanged.
Shares in Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 6.23% or 6.0 to 90.0. Shares in Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) rose to all time highs; up 2.61% or 9.9 to 389.3.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.12% or 0.08 to $67.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.50% or 0.37 to hit $74.37 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.20 to trade at $1317.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.78% to 10.4971, while USD/SEK rose 1.17% to 8.6654.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 91.31.
