Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 6.37% or 4.80 points to trade at 79.90 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) added 6.17% or 2.90 points to end at 49.60 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 5.14% or 9.60 points to 196.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 5.09% or 11.90 points to trade at 221.20 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.48% or 4.80 points to end at 319.50 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 1.06% or 1.25 points to 117.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 426 to 328 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.61% or 1.11 to $70.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.35% or 0.98 to hit $73.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 17.35 to trade at $2,591.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.09% to 11.33, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 10.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 100.61.
