Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 6.81% or 0.42 points to trade at 6.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 3.81% or 3.30 points to end at 88.90 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) was up 3.46% or 1.50 points to 44.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 1.31% or 2.00 points to trade at 151.00 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 0.03% or 0.02 points to end at 67.92 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) was up 0.08% or 0.20 points to 265.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 456 to 305 and 90 ended unchanged.
Shares in Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.81% or 0.42 to 6.62.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.49% or 0.40 to $82.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.35% or 0.30 to hit $85.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.85% or 44.10 to trade at $2,423.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.15% to 11.40, while USD/SEK fell 0.50% to 10.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 104.10.
