Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.99%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 5.52% or 8.30 points to trade at 158.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 2.37% or 2.4 points to end at 103.6 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 2.12% or 2.9 points to 140.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 1.54% or 2.9 points to trade at 185.6 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 0.42% or 2.9 points to end at 685.2 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was up 0.07% or 0.06 points to 83.23.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 396 to 238 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.82% or 0.96 to $51.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.16% or 0.72 to hit $61.38 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 6.05 to trade at $1312.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.02% to 10.4946, while USD/SEK rose 0.33% to 9.3037.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 96.843.
