Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 3.46% or 3.00 points to trade at 88.60 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 3.32% or 8.20 points to end at 254.90 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 3.27% or 0.20 points to 6.31 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which fell 0.66% or 11.50 points to trade at 1,733.50 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) declined 0.29% or 0.35 points to end at 119.55 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 0.07% or 0.20 points to 298.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 397 to 357 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.89% or 0.70 to $77.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.37% or 0.30 to hit $80.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 25.25 to trade at $2,482.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.17% to 11.51, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.02% to 10.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 102.32.
