Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 5.41% or 0.30 points to trade at 5.77 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 3.18% or 3.90 points to end at 125.00 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 2.55% or 7.10 points to 285.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 2.07% or 26.40 points to trade at 1,252.00 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.30% or 0.70 points to end at 51.60 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.88% or 1.40 points to 156.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 33 to 23 and 1 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.09% or 1.55 to $75.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.95% or 1.53 to hit $79.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 17.00 to trade at $2,392.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.38% to 11.34, while USD/SEK rose 0.24% to 10.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 104.21.
