Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 3.11% or 0.74 points to trade at 24.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 3.08% or 1.94 points to end at 64.94 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 2.86% or 0.78 points to 28.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which fell 2.16% or 13.00 points to trade at 587.80 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.19% or 0.60 points to end at 48.20 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 0.62% or 1.20 points to 193.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 400 to 382 and 78 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.86% or 0.78 to 28.04.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.99% or 0.80 to $81.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.89% or 0.75 to hit $85.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 9.95 to trade at $2,341.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 11.24, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 10.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 105.17.
