Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.48% or 0.44 points to trade at 10.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 2.03% or 1.6 points to end at 82.6 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.78% or 5.00 points to 286.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which fell 0.29% or 1.6 points to trade at 555.2 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 47.44 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 0.05% or 0.1 points to 102.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 385 to 227 and 56 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.24% or 0.15 to $62.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $65.60 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.42% or 18.80 to trade at $1338.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.02% to 10.1929, while USD/SEK fell 0.60% to 8.2117.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 89.53.
