Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 7.71% or 1.70 points to trade at 23.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 6.37% or 0.36 points to end at 6.01 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 2.93% or 2.60 points to 91.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG), which fell 0.32% or 3.50 points to trade at 1,080.50 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 0.20% or 0.40 points to end at 198.40 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was down 0.18% or 0.30 points to 169.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 489 to 289 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.26% or 0.21 to $80.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.35% or 0.30 to hit $85.37 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 20.60 to trade at $2,367.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.05% to 11.21, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 10.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 105.25.
