Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.86% or 0.63 points to trade at 34.42 at the close. Meanwhile, AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 1.73% or 2.6 points to end at 153.1 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 1.56% or 3.7 points to 241.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 0.41% or 0.8 points to trade at 192.9 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 0.31% or 0.80 points to end at 261.00 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.17% or 0.1 points to 83.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 398 to 241 and 52 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.23% or 0.69 to $56.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.16% or 0.76 to hit $66.50 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 7.95 to trade at $1291.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.28% to 10.5603, while USD/SEK fell 0.35% to 9.3931.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 97.162.
