Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 3.80% or 5.4 points to trade at 147.6 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 2.78% or 1.09 points to end at 40.35 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 2.77% or 0.98 points to 36.33 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.00% or 0.47 points to trade at 46.65 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 0.99% or 2.0 points to end at 201.0 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 0.80% or 0.75 points to 92.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 482 to 255 and 68 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.70% or 1.24 to $47.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.57% or 1.81 to hit $52.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 9.19 to trade at $1323.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 9.4599, while USD/SEK fell 0.28% to 7.9573.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 92.77.
