Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 2.26% or 14.0 points to trade at 633.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 2.16% or 8.0 points to end at 377.9 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was up 2.05% or 1.22 points to 60.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.12% or 0.88 points to trade at 77.48 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 0.03% or 0.3 points to end at 866.1 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 179.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 368 to 270 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.98% or 1.06 to $54.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.10% or 0.64 to hit $58.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 14.75 to trade at $1551.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.09% to 10.7286, while USD/SEK fell 0.04% to 9.6698.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 97.893.
