Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 2.18% or 6.80 points to trade at 318.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 2.03% or 1.80 points to end at 89.10 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 1.83% or 10.60 points to 589.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 5.29% or 8.10 points to trade at 144.20 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 3.29% or 3.70 points to end at 107.30 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) was down 1.71% or 0.80 points to 45.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 477 to 290 and 85 ended unchanged.
Shares in ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) rose to all time highs; up 2.18% or 6.80 to 318.60.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.47% or 1.15 to $77.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.57% or 1.29 to hit $81.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.30% or 30.60 to trade at $2,384.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.02% to 11.74, while USD/SEK fell 0.14% to 10.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.04.
