Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 8.24% or 2.29 points to trade at 30.07 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 3.04% or 3.40 points to end at 115.40 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 2.76% or 3.60 points to 133.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 2.71% or 2.15 points to trade at 77.25 at the close. TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) declined 1.35% or 0.59 points to end at 43.07 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.63% or 1.4 points to 220.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 226 to 198 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.71% or 2.15 to 77.25. Shares in TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.35% or 0.59 to 43.07.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.34% or 0.60 to $44.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.31% or 0.62 to hit $47.06 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 2.25% or 25.10 to trade at $1138.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.10% to 9.3872, while USD/SEK fell 0.72% to 8.3198.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.79% at 95.58.
