Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Basic Materials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb), which rose 2.35% or 7.20 points to trade at 311.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 2.01% or 6.70 points to end at 340.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.89% or 1.50 points to 79.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which fell 1.59% or 0.52 points to trade at 32.16 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.11% or 0.50 points to end at 48.00 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was down 0.55% or 0.65 points to 117.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 496 to 258 and 79 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.74% or 0.56 to $75.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.64% or 0.51 to hit $78.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.44% or 37.95 to trade at $2,677.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 11.34, while USD/SEK fell 0.13% to 10.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.66.
