Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.56% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 4.79% or 8.9 points to trade at 194.7 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 3.69% or 7.8 points to end at 219.4 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 2.88% or 7.00 points to 250.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 3.31% or 7.2 points to trade at 210.2 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 0.43% or 0.9 points to end at 207.8 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was down 0.32% or 1.0 points to 315.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 413 to 350 and 66 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.26% or 0.16 to hit $60.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.49 to trade at $1270.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.24% to 9.7564, while USD/SEK rose 0.20% to 8.3707.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.43.
