Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 4.01% or 0.24 points to trade at 6.20 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 3.39% or 8.70 points to end at 265.70 and Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG) was up 1.97% or 22.00 points to 1,140.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 3.18% or 1.40 points to trade at 43.30 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 1.86% or 1.70 points to end at 89.50 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was down 0.90% or 4.10 points to 451.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 413 to 355 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.18% or 1.40 to 43.30.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.25% or 1.02 to $82.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.93% or 0.79 to hit $85.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 18.55 to trade at $2,386.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.02% to 11.42, while USD/SEK fell 0.08% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 104.73.
