Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which rose 7.82% or 17.60 points to trade at 242.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 3.86% or 6.1 points to end at 164.2 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 3.23% or 9.20 points to 294.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 14.99% or 2.96 points to trade at 16.79 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 5.85% or 6.30 points to end at 101.40 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 4.49% or 2.43 points to 51.67.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 384 to 365 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 14.99% or 2.96 to 16.79.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.50% or 0.26 to $52.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.36% or 0.21 to hit $58.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.39 to trade at $1274.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.38% to 9.7352, while USD/SEK rose 1.30% to 8.3260.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.81% at 94.29.
