Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 4.20% or 1.56 points to trade at 38.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 2.05% or 1.98 points to end at 98.64 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.61% or 3.80 points to 240.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 5.11% or 0.70 points to trade at 13.00 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 0.98% or 0.48 points to end at 48.71 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was down 0.94% or 3.5 points to 367.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 337 to 276 and 46 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.11% or 0.70 to 13.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.84% or 0.55 to $66.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $70.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 10.30 to trade at $1352.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.32% to 9.7887, while USD/SEK fell 0.54% to 7.8781.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 88.84.
