Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb), which rose 1.90% or 6.2 points to trade at 333.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) added 1.82% or 6.7 points to end at 375.7 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.42% or 1.2 points to 86.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 4.30% or 0.74 points to trade at 16.54 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 0.76% or 2.0 points to end at 262.1 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 0.61% or 0.98 points to 158.82.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 396 to 224 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.15% or 0.09 to $61.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.10% or 0.07 to hit $67.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.40 to trade at $1317.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.00% to 9.8138, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 8.1975.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 92.05.
