Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 2.03% or 3.9 points to trade at 196.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) added 1.36% or 5.6 points to end at 417.5 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 1.36% or 10.4 points to 775.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which fell 3.48% or 2.92 points to trade at 81.08 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.17% or 1.6 points to end at 136.4 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 0.61% or 0.22 points to 35.78.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 364 to 272 and 55 ended unchanged.
Shares in ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.03% or 3.9 to 196.3.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.86% or 0.48 to $56.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.48% or 0.31 to hit $65.38 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 9.75 to trade at $1289.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.40% to 10.5831, while USD/SEK rose 0.78% to 9.3420.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 96.623.
