Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.47% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 11.33% or 102.5 points to trade at 1007.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.13% or 0.69 points to end at 33.11 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 1.96% or 4.1 points to 213.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 1.45% or 0.59 points to trade at 40.17 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 0.86% or 0.90 points to end at 104.30 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.70% or 0.5 points to 64.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 410 to 304 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.66% or 0.82 to $50.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.91% or 0.50 to hit $55.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.97 to trade at $1329.97 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.5244, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 8.0121.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 92.28.
