Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 3.05% or 4.65 points to trade at 156.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 1.23% or 17.0 points to end at 1395.5 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.12% or 2.40 points to 217.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 0.95% or 0.43 points to trade at 45.01 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 0.53% or 0.04 points to end at 7.20 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 0.49% or 0.4 points to 81.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 338 to 269 and 67 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.08% or 1.35 to $66.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.37% or 0.28 to hit $75.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1276.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 10.2829, while USD/SEK fell 0.28% to 8.8679.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 94.62.
