Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 3.49% or 23.8 points to trade at 705.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 2.03% or 2.63 points to end at 132.28 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 1.77% or 1.74 points to 99.86 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which fell 2.09% or 8.7 points to trade at 407.3 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 1.05% or 4.9 points to end at 463.8 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was down 0.90% or 2.30 points to 253.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 342 to 288 and 54 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.42% or 1.27 to $53.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.39% or 1.47 to hit $62.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.55 to trade at $1312.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.11% to 10.4816, while USD/SEK fell 0.46% to 9.2635.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 96.618.
