Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb), which rose 2.81% or 7.0 points to trade at 256.1 at the close. Meanwhile, AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 1.79% or 2.8 points to end at 159.3 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.67% or 4.7 points to 285.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 1.93% or 1.6 points to trade at 80.4 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 0.67% or 1.0 points to end at 148.1 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was down 0.66% or 0.62 points to 93.82.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 329 to 316 and 59 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.26% or 0.76 to $59.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.45% or 0.30 to hit $66.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.75 to trade at $1413.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.33% to 10.5280, while USD/SEK fell 0.27% to 9.3520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.562.
